On August 3rd we had a Bridges Reunion in Dingle, Idaho. AJ and I came up around 4pm. my aunt Melissa had organized a children's obstacles race for all the little children. They had to slide, jump, balance, and climb through a variety of obstacles. Then they got to go on a treasure hunt by searching for coins in a bed of saw dust. The children also had a giant blow up water slide. You have to climb up the one side and then slide down through a little waterfall into a pool of water at the base.
Next it was the adults turn for adventure and challenge in the adult's obstacle course. We were paired and we had to do various things like wheel barrow race, 3-legged race, bounce on a giant ball... My team one of course.
August 4th was the Schmid Reunion, my mom's side of the family. This is the one I go to and don't know a single person. We had lunch at the beach and then Marcus, AJ, Me, Monica, and Johnny played in the water. We jumped off each other's shoulders into the water.
This year AJ was determined to find a Raspberry Shake. Since most of the shake stands are found on the other side of the lake and are a ways away he made due with an Arctic Circle raspberry shake.
